'52 LEEK/LONGTON - 31 TAMWORTH

Leek/Longton started off strong taking the lead in the first 10 minutes with some great passing and a fast run with the ball. Brooke Massey made some excellent breaks playing from centre, 2 of these breaks leading to great individual tries and nicely converted by Celia, great team work by all players.
Some great rucking by Emily and Annie with Jaz playing really well at 9. Leek kept possession of the ball and didn’t give an opportunities, working really well as a team.

Tamworth came back a lot stronger than last time we played them 2 weeks ago and give us a really good game in the end. By the last 20 minutes the score was really close.

Leeks strengths showed through in the end with Aoife, Celia and Lucy all scoring in the last 3rd.
