This weekend we name no less than 79 senior players across four league fixtures, a fantastic achievement that everyone associated with the club should be proud of.

Our 1st XV embark on their furthest trip of the season, to Penrith, with a side that includes new signing Josh Ballance in the centres alongside exciting youngster Kin Critchlow. Elsewhere, Ollie Powell reverts to prop with Joel Hine coming into the second row and Billy Kidd switching flanks to the open side.

Our 2nd XV run out on home soil for the second Saturday running as they welcome Stone to Altrad Park for a 3pm kick-off. As ever, skipper Andy Thompson's phone has been working hard all week with several enforced changes, and there are welcome returns to action for Anton Davidson and Harry Evans in the pack and former 1st XV player Jake Green slotting back in at 10 after signing with the club this week.

Our 3rd XV get their first taste of action with a home league opener against Longton 2s. Skipper Joe Hammonds names a familiar looking side with a nice blend of youth and experience with youngsters Logan Robinson and Johnny Mackey being guided by the experienced heads of Edge, Hicks, Worrall and Chandler. Kick-off is also at 3pm.

And last, but by no means least, our Colts XV will be the first to kick off on Saturday with a midday start for their league opener at Longton. Skipper Zach Norris will lead the blue and whites on the back of an impressive showing at the recent Burton festival as our senior and junior Colts continue to combine and develop as a side.

The clubhouse will be open from 1:30pm with the bar open from 1:45pm for the 2nd and 3rd XV home fixtures.
