The 1st XV return to action after a two week hiatus by welcoming Rossendale to Altrad Park for the first time in the club's history. The break has given the chance for a few players to work themselves back into the fold with Powell back at prop, Booth in the second Row, Gorman at number eight and Floyd returning in the centres.

Hoping to make an impact off the bench will be new signing and debutant Driss Chouhaibi. The athletic second Rower has recently joined Leek following a spell at Stafford. Some keen observers will remember him from his time as part of the combined Leek/Uttoxeter Colts side of 2021/22 season.

Away from Altrad Park our 2nd XV make the long trip into deepest Shropshire to take on Cleobury Mortimer. There are starts for Hammonds, Capper and Hine in the pack with flanker Tanner taking the captain's armband this weekend. Behind them is a strong looking backline with youngster Nadin named at 12 and a solid bench to compliment.

With Coach Mudd at the wheel, no matter the result, its sure to be an entertaining journey home!
