Versatile back Joe Byrne added his name to the long list of winners of the club’s Kicking Cup. A cup with a long history that has been won by some unlikely contenders in the past, this time it was Joe who won through with a consistent boot on the night.

A slightly newer trophy, but one for the purists, the Prop Idol award has been won by a number of unusual suspects. This year’s winner of a combination of bench press, shoulder press, deadlifts and squats was winger, Tom Laverick, adding it to his 3rd XV best back award.
