Sunday saw another brilliant display from Leek minis and juniors, with great rugby, great effort and great attitudes on show.
The under 12 girls Vixens looked sharp as they travelled south to face Telford Hornets. In a tough contest against strong opposition, the girls showed real determination, grit and teamwork right to the final whistle. A huge effort all round from this developing squad.
The under 9s travelled to Burton’s impressive Battlestead Croft facilities on a crisp, sunny morning. Leek fielded three teams and played a rotation of four games, showing excellent ball carrying, strong defensive work and plenty of rugby values throughout. A fantastic morning rounded off perfectly with a well-earned hot dog in the clubhouse!
The under 8 Wolves had no fixture this week, which meant a perfect chance to focus on core skills at training. The group worked hard on catching and passing, evasive running and tagging - great building blocks for the weeks ahead.
And our under 7s welcomed Uttoxeter to St Edward’s Park for a fun, energetic morning of rugby. The players continue to learn, grow, and enjoy every minute - great skills, great smiles and great effort from everyone involved!
