On a sunny Saturday 30th July,a group of parents and players from leek Juniors U13 & U14 teams,organised and ran a promotional stand at this years Leek Show.

This was the first time Leek RUFC have been represented at the show and the theme was based along similar lines to the Rugby special - Mooro's mouth, exept we used 'Shut the coach up'

On a very sunny day, 10 parents and a dozen or more boys manned the stand, raising useful funds for the teams coffers along with contact details of at least 20 potential new players from a range of age groups.
Live interviews were given to BBC Stoke and Moorlands Radia broadcast an article about the club.

Exposure like this is critical to the future wellbeing of the club and should be repeated at next years showand possibly even wider.
