Staffordshire Rugby Union is planning a shake up of its officer roles, splitting the roles of President and Chair. The proposal will be discussed at the annual general meeting, which will be held at Newcastle rugby club, Lilleshall Road, Newcastle under Lyme, ST5 3BX at 19.30 on Tuesday, 23 June.

With current president/chair Mike Bezus and secretary Robin Websdale both stepping down, the following candidates have been nominated ahead of the meeting:

• President Andy Lewis (Stafford)
• Chair Shaun Godfrey (Lichfield)
• Hon. Secretary Becky Davies (Eccleshall)
• Hon. Treasurer Brian Scott (Burton)
