Each week we shine a light on one of the incredible local businesses who support our club, our players and our community. These partners play a huge part in helping Leek rugby club grow on and off the pitch, and we’re proud to celebrate them.
This week, we’re spotlighting Breeze House. Founded by Andy and Chris Peck more than 30 years ago, the company introduced the very first thatched luxury garden gazebos to the UK, and they're still handcrafting every single one right here in their Leek factory.
Why did you choose to support Leek rugby club?
Rugby is close to our hearts! Both Andy and Chris played for Leek, and Chris captained the 1XV team. Supporting grassroots rugby matters to us because Leek RUFC is full of talented players who are helping the club reach new heights.
What’s your favourite thing about rugby or the club?
Leek RUFC is more than a club, it’s a community. Over the past 20 years, it’s grown tremendously, with membership almost doubling! We love how it teaches the RFU TREDS values - teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline, and sportsmanship - across all age groups. That sense of camaraderie is what makes it so special.
Share a fun fact — about your business or yourselves!
Our Breeze Houses have graced the gardens of footballers, newsreaders, and even royalty! And we’re hoping one day an England rugby star will join the Breeze House family.
Where can people find you?
You can explore our collection of Breeze Houses online at breezehouse.co.uk, or visit us in person at our showsite on Sunnyhills Road in Leek - look out for the giraffe! You can also find us on Instagram and Facebook @breezehouseuk
A huge thank you to Breeze House for their fantastic support of Leek rugby!
