The revised fixtures for our newly-promoted 3rd XV have been confirmed, following the delayed start to the season due to the drought.

James Alcock's men start the season with a trip to new opponents Aldwinians, based at Audenshaw near Ashton-under-Lyne. Their first home game is a rematch against old friends and fellow promoted team Marple 2s on 3 October. The Moorlanders edged a thrilling match 43-40 last season.

With 20 league matches taking the team through to April, there'll be plenty of rugby action to look forward to for the 3s this season.

And of course one date worth circling on your calendar is the traditional Boxing Day fixture against Leek Vets - always a brilliant club occasion.
