Leek forward Oli Powell was player of the match as Staffordshire beat North Midlands 22-0 at Droitwich on Saturday.

The green and whites scored four tries while shutting out the opposition and have now played two, won two in Division 2, Pool 2 of the Bill Beaumont County Championship, having previously seen off Warwickshire.

After two away wins, Staffs are at home on Saturday 31 May as they entertain East Midlands at Stafford with a place in the semi final at stake. It's a 2.30pm kickoff at Blackberry Lane.
