More winning performances from Leek's youngsters

Lightning lead the way with win over Clee Hill

Sunday saw more winning performances from Leek's youngsters.

The Lightning under 14 girls produced a superb 49–22 win over Clee Hill. Morgan scored an incredible seven tries and was named opposition player of the match, with Ava also crossing and Freya adding two conversions. Teamwork and confidence growing every week.

Our under 14 Claws edged a thrilling 27–25 win over Lymm, with a huge defensive effort and strong work at the breakdown.

The under13s ran out convincing 40–10 winners against Uttoxeter, scoring some excellent team tries.

Our under 12 Vixens delivered another strong performance at St Edward's Park to beat Crewe & Nantwich, with the squad continuing to grow in numbers and confidence.

The under 11 Hawks enjoyed a competitive in-squad training game, putting their hard work from training into practice.

Leek under 10s played an exciting, fast-paced match with Uttoxeter showing great skill and teamwork and the under 9s combined games and training with Uttoxeter to work on new skills. Top tacklers: Riley & Eli (Tigers), Reeva (Sharks), Edward & Lydia (Falcons).

Our under 8s showed great resilience in a tough three-way fixture with Lichfield at Uttoxeter and the under 7s had another fun morning of rugby, with a special shout out to Brody for stepping in to help Uttoxeter - great rugby values.
