We’re delighted to confirm that Scott Rawlings will return as a player and backs coach for the upcoming season, while James Milan will be back on the field and joins the senior coaching setup as strength and conditioning lead.

Returning to the blue and white last summer for the first time since his junior rugby days, Scott made an immediate impact both on and off the field. His influence helped develop our lively back line into an attacking force and his performances on the pitch earned recognition with selection for the Lancashire county team and a place in the North Rugby team of the year.

Joining him is another player who made a huge impact during his first season as a Moorlander. Dynamic scrum-half James Milan has converted his loan move from National League outfit Macclesfield into full registration with the club and will take on the role of strength and conditioning lead.

James has already begun leading the squad’s off-season programme and will play a key role in driving performance and player development throughout the club.

Pre-season gets underway on Tuesday 30 June with a full squad meeting followed by the first training session of the summer.
