First game back after Christmas (and no training due to pitch preservation) for U14s Lightnings and they won 25-32 after a hard fought match.

Lightning were behind in the first half, but fought back with supported tries made by Brooke, Celia, Charlotte and Thea, with Celia and Aiofe taking conversions.

Some great chases for the ball, hard tackles and great team support (given we had swapped out members of Crewe and Nantwich), all of which demonstrated a game with grit and perseverance to see them win.

Well done U14s - this sets us up for a good match next time out against Barker Butts in Coventry.
