
Leek Lightning girls under 14s and under 16s squads led the way as the mini and junior season reached its finale with festivals across Staffordshire and Shropshire. The girls both won their tournaments at Telford, with the under 12 Vixens finishing runners up in their competition.
Our under 7 Piranhas played their first ever festival at Wednesbury with fantastic teamwork, passing and smiles all round. Everyone got on the scoresheet and the boys got to see the world’s tallest rugby posts! A perfect way to end their season.
The under 8 Wolves hosted their festival at St Edward's Park, a brilliant day with 12 teams and a real festival atmosphere. The Wolves were outstanding, full of energy, teamwork and spirit - huge thanks to all volunteers who made it happen.
Leek under 9s fielded three teams at Uttoxeter, a fantastic day for all with huge effort, loads of fun and great teamwork throughout.
Our under 10 Titans were at Tamworth where they enjoyed a cracking day with another top performance. The progress this group has made this season is there for all to see - brilliant effort from everyone.
The under 11 Hawks travelled to Willenhall and had an excellent end to the season with some great rugby played by all - a fitting finish for the Hawks.
At Burntwood, the under 12 Eagles enjoyed a fantastic festival, finishing Shield runners-up - a brilliant achievement and a great day of rugby and team bonding.
