As a club we are updating you on an event taking place on our grounds between the above dates.

The Goldwing Motorcycle Club is hosting a camping event at the club during these dates with the main nights 2nd and 3rd Aug .Set up will commence on 1st August with some members of the club. (Weather dependant)

The clubhouse. changing rooms and car park will be out of use by all members between 30th July. and 4 th.August, Coaches and Captains have been informed.

They will also be raising funds for 2 local charities which include CRY .

Depending on the weather they are expecting a max of 12 motorhomes which will be parked on the club house car park and anything between 30 and 60 tents with their goldwing motorcycles which will be parked on the grassed area in front of the club house .(estimated 2 persons per tent)

The event will be policed by the organisers with a full health and safety assessment and security plan.

The Goldwing club are basically mature / retired Goldwing motorcycle enthusiasts who will be going out on planned rides into the Peak District on Sat 3.8.19 and visiting the Abaratritum on 2.8.19 , returning to use the club as a base.

The club house will be open for food /bar service and music, in accordance with our licence on the 2 main nights.

No live music or drinks will be on sale or played outside.

The clubhouse changing rooms will be used by the attendees.

The private club grounds will be out of use during this time to dog walkers and Hopedale staff will be parking elsewhere.

We anticipate no parking on the roads and have requested no generators used except for one during a short period on Saturday am on 3 rd.August

All are expected to have vacated by midday Sunday 4th August.

The local S.M.D.C and Residents Association have been updated. Income raised will support ongoing main pitch work. No camping will take place on the main pitch

We as a club will have key contacts with the organisers during the weekend.
