Our 1st XV head to Grove Park for their penultimate game of the league season on Saturday looking to pick up their sixth away win of the season and consolidate a top five finish in Regional 1 North West.
They take on a Manchester side who will be determined to pick up points to avoid an end of season relegation play off.
It was a close encounter in December with the Moorlanders running out 29-26 winners, so Joe Newton-Taylor's men will be taking nothing for granted. Kick off is at 3pm.
Back at St Edward's Park our 2nd XV have a crunch fixture against old foes Longton. The Moorlanders enter the game just one point above the visitors. who currently sit in the relegation zone. With just three games remaining in the league it is all to play for in a massive afternoon for the Andy Thompson's men.
They will be ably supported by a host of former players as we welcome our past captains for their annual pre-match luncheon and some past players for their pre-match buffet.
We also look forward to welcoming Mark Edge and friends from Moorsedge Gundogs who are our matchday sponsors, alongside our under 10s Titans who will be mascots for the day.
The bar will be open from midday with live sport on the big screens, hot food and fresh beers available.
If you are a past player please get down for a beer, catch up with some old team mates, cheer on your Blue & Whites and regale everyone with tales from “back in my day…” See you all there!
