Leek under12 Eagles turned in the performance of the day on Sunday, taking their first win in a few seasons after edging a big clash against local rivals Longton. The team responded brilliantly after an early setback with strong tackling and ruck work.

Elsewhere, our under 7s impressed away at Stoke, showing brilliant teamwork in defence and attack against a combined under 7/8 side. The under 8s played some great rugby at home versus Longton across two pitches, full of energy and smiles. The under 9s had a standout morning against Ashbourne, with 100% attendance and fantastic commitment from all 27 players.

Our under 10s enjoyed a superb, evenly matched game against Stoke, made extra special debuting their new kit thanks to Konsileo, Turnkey Instruments & Hine Plumbing. And the under 11s Hawks faced a tough, physical test away at Stoke against a well-drilled side.

The Congleton/Leek under 14 Claws delivered an outstanding team performance against Holmes Chapel, running in multiple tries in tough conditions, with Gavin named player of the match. And our under 16 girls Lightning produced a heroic display away at Lichfield, pushing a strong side all the way with no subs and incredible determination.
