Eagles come out even at Bakewell festival

Titans become Sharks for the day

The rain put paid to any rugby at St Edward's Park on Sunday but there was still plent of Leek mini and junior action on the road.

U12 Eagles
At a big festival at Bakewell hosted by a national 7s team, the Eagles emerged with three wins, three losses and one draw, displaying outstanding grit and determination throughout.

U8s Wolves
The Wolves showed great teamwork, communication and effort in their fixture away at Buxton - with several Moorlanders even helping out Buxton to make up the numbers.

U14 Claws
The Claws scratched out a gritty, hard-fought 19-17 cup win over Eccleshall. In tricky conditions they put in a massive defensive effort and showed real character shown.
Players of the day: Archie (captain, led from the front) and Mike (huge carries, faultless defence).

Under 9s
A brilliant outing in tough conditions away at Buxton. Huge welcome to Vinnie, who marked his debut with a storming try and some big tackles. Top tacklers: Alfie & Henry C. Special shout-out to Aiden for showing top rugby values, helping Vinnie settle in.

U15 Rhinos
A strong 35-12 away win over Market Drayton - great effort on the road.

U10s Titans
The Titans enjoyed an unforgettable training day with Sale Sharks, proudly flying the Leek flag.
