The funeral of former Leek coach Ian Gittens will take place on Wednesday 12 November at 12.30 at Birches Crematorium and Remembrance Park, Northwich, CW9 7SU.

The service will be followed by a pie and a pint from 14:30 at The Swettenham Arms, Congleton, CW12 2LF.

Ian's family have invited those who knew him to join them to share memories and stories and to celebrate his life.

They have suggested wearing something that reflects his love of sport - a rugby shirt or your favourite team’s top - as Gitts was never one for formal black. He especially loved blue and red, and fluorescent ski jackets and salopettes!
