Both players have been selected by their peers in the division to represent the North West in the Annual “Big Game” to be held at Manchester rugby club in the post-season.

It is just reward for two players who developed through the pathway here at Leek as juniors.

Joe played right through the age groups and has gone on to become a major asset for the 1s in their rise to the top half of Level 5, displaying his versatility by putting on match-winning performances from 9, 10 and 15.

Scott left Leek after moving through the age groups to pursue a career in National League rugby where he had a successful stint for Lancashire side Fylde. After a season off he returned to his boyhood club last summer where his arrival as a player-coach has fuelled the side’s attacking threat, helping our 1XV to record its strongest ever league performance to date.
