There will be something of a changing of the guard at this year's Leek rugby club annual general meeting as a number of senior roles need to be filled.
Club president John McDermott is standing down after an extended period in the role. Current club chair Marcus Midwinter is being nominated to take over from John, leaving his role vacant.
Club treasurer Steve Mellor is standing down after several years, leaving another vacancy to be filled. And mini and junior section chair Richard Mounsey is also moving on as his children have grown up. There are also vacancies for a social secretary and inclusion and diversity coordinator.
The club AGM will take place from 8pm on Tuesday 7 July at St Edward's Park. Club members can nominate candidates for these and any other committee and 'golden' roles, a list of which can be found in the formal notice of meeting listed under the information/documents tabs on the club website.
To discuss the roles, or any other AGM business, please contact club secretary Carol Fryer on 07730 316933 or email carol.f17@btinternet.com; or club chair Marcus Midwinter on 07976 634336 or email mkmidwinter@sky.com.
