Unlike the 1sts, who have three away games in September, Leek 2nd XV will benefit from the familiar surroundings of Altrad Park for three of their first four fixtures in the new season.

They start with games against Eccleshall on the 7th and Stone on the 14th, travelling to Newcastle on the 21st before welcoming Handsworth to Leek on the 28th.

Following last season’s third place finish the boys will be looking to push on and gain promotion this time round.

There will be strong challenges from league newbies Uttoxeter, Handsworth and Rugeley, who have all dropped down from Counties 2, and a couple more Staffs derbies to look forward to against Stoke 2s and Burton 3s who have come up from Counties 4.

With such a strong Staffordshire feel to the league this year, we look forward to renewing rivalries with many friends across the county.
