
Five charities will benefit from the money raised from our annual bonfire and fireworks extravangza.
Entry to the event, which took place on 1 November this year, is by cash donation, with the proceeds shared between investing in our community rugby activities and various good causes.
The following five charities will each receive £100 from the club:
Cancer Research UK - the leading cancer charity that funds scientists, doctors and nurses to help beat cancer sooner and also provides cancer information to the public.
My Name'5 Doddie Foundation - a charity committed to funding research to find effective treatments to motor neurone disease; their vision is a world free of MND.
Moorlands Voluntary and Community Transport - a registered charity that aims to support residents of the Staffordshire Moorlands who are struggling to get out and about; whether that be to meet friends in a social setting or to attend a vital medical appointment.
Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal - Founded in 1921, the appeal raises funds for the Royal British Legion’s vital work supporting serving personnel, veterans and their families throughout their lives with whatever the need, whenever it’s needed.
Staffordshire RFU Injured Players Fund - England Rugby’s official charity, they look after seriously injured players for life and help prevent future injuries through research and education.
