Another fine team performance by Under 18 girls

Leek made the long journey to Oswestry to play the return fixture. The weather was good and so was the rugby. Oswestry started the stronger spending most of the opening 3 minutes in the Leek 22. Stout defending kept Oswestry at bay and quick thinking by Jenny led to a break away try. Leek then took control of the game with some fine phased play allowing Jenny to score her brace. Forward pressure led to Charlie scoring her first try of the season followed be a fine overlap score from Abby. Holly then showed her pace with a fine stop and start score from half way. Jenny scored 2 more trys with the forwards and backs in unison with the back row of Morgan, Katie and Alana sewing it all together. Leah then finished off a great team try under the posts just before half time.

Oswestry never gave up and scored a fine try early in the second half. Katie the blasted through to score a cracker with Kyra getting in the act with a bulldozing score. Millle scored a quick brace capping off a superb afternoon of wing play. Jenny the scored her 5th try producing a fine captains performance. The girls are gelling well as forwards and backs taking the oppotunities team rugby gives you. Holly converted 6 of the trys with our captain also scoring 3. All the girls gave their all and stuck to the game plan.
