Strong start for Under 18 girls

Leek travelled to Telford for our first game of the Under 18 season. Telford only had 11 players so we lent them 4 players for all of the 3 20 minutes sessions. Telford started well by 2 blockbusting tackles by Jenny kept the scores level. Izzy and Holly both made try scoring breaks only to by tacked by Abby who was playing for the opposition. In the second session we change the 4 girls and gave them 4 more. We started to find our structure and started to score on a regular basis. The third session was the same but don't be fooled by the score. Telford are a good side with some special players. Try scorers were Jenny 2, Holly 2, Izzy 2, Millie Hall 2, Millie Conord 2, Morgan 2, Molly and the best try was superb pass to her twin sister Megan who scored in the corner. Conversions were Holly 5, Jenny 3 and Millie Conord. Massive thanks to Telford for their warm welcome and excellent play. Good luck girls for the rest of the season
