leek Under 15 girls lose tri tournament

Leek travelled to Mansfield to play a Tri tournament with Burton. Leek played Mansfield and immediately took the lead with a fine and well worked try by Molly. So, business as usual, how wrong were we. Mansfield came back and the strong running 12 just ran through unopposed.
Further weak tackling and poor back formation resulted in 2 further trys. Morgan grabbed one back with Millie converting both. After every try the coaches pointed out that the tackling must be lower but it fell on deaf ears. Morgan scored again but the final disappointing result was a deserved 43-26 to Mansfield.
We immediately took the field to play Burton with the coaches being confident of a better performance. Unfortunately the performance dipped even more. Millie and Morgan(2) scored but Burton ran out deserved winners.
